Snom M9T DECT Location Tag

With the Snom Beacon solution, Snom offers a cost-effective and timely solution to integrate professional location and asset tracking and alarm systems** into any existing Snom DECT multicell system*.

The Snom M9T Tag is a tag about the size of a 2 euro coin that can be placed anywhere. It connects via Bluetooth LE to the Snom M9B Beacon Gateway***. The tag can be attached to any object. The signals are detected by the Snom M9B and processed to determine the position (RX mode).

The tag uses Bluetooth LE, making it very energy-efficient. It has a motion sensor and is therefore only activated when movement is detected, which in turn saves energy. All of this results in a long battery life.

This allows for numerous scenarios to be mapped out, ranging from indoor navigation, theft protection, inventory management, tracking solutions, and much more. On the one hand, the beacons are inexpensive to purchase, can be installed with minimal effort, and consume hardly any power thanks to the BLE standard (Bluetooth Low Energy). Additionally, beacons typically do not affect existing infrastructures such as WLAN, DECT, or mobile communication. Even medical equipment remains undisturbed.
